Roslin Bioinformatics - Genotype Checker

The VIPER project

In collaboration with Edinburgh Napier University Institute for Informatics and Digital Innovation, work on the BBSRC-funded project VIPER (Visual Interactive Pedigree Explorer) commenced in July 2010 with development work completed in January 2012.

VIPER provides a greatly enhanced data visualisation and cleaning tool where a novel 'Sandwich View' is used to provide a space-efficient representation of the pedigree structure. VIPER is now freely available and described fully on the Roslin Bioinformatics - VIPER site.
